Produced by Shizu Hamono Seisakusho which is located in Seki City, Gifu prefecture in Japan. They have made knives that have been used for hundreds of years in Japan, like SANTOKU all -purpose knives , NAKIRI vegetable knives, and DEBA filetting knives styles with a simpler shape that's easier to use.
The blades of Morinoki Banno / Utiliry knife has been made as thinly as possible to suppress the amount of resistance that food stuffs can present to cutting and means that you can use less force to cut than with traditional knives.
The handle is made from pure Japanese Keyaki Zelkova Wood.
